Florida is humid and hot and it's still March... I can close my eyes
begin to day dream about cooler Canada and Alaska temperatures. Looking at the countdown clock - 64 days to go!
Others have
expressed interest in tagging along on this adventure which has created a new
project for me. Trying to fit several types of traveling and agendas into one trip.
Looking back to the beginning of planning one thing was clear to me -- I would never be put in the
position of "WagonMaster" again or the one creating the routes, finding
campgrounds, etc. by myself. A good thing to remember... and once I did, it's time to step back and regroup for this trip.
My goal for 2017 is this Alaskan Adventure, not be on a time
table or be restricted financially to enjoy everything it offers. Instead of trying to find others to join me in my adventure
perhaps looking in groups like Escapees and Wandering Individuals Network for others with plans in the works already. It's a start........

I know it's hard to get going on your own but sometimes it is worth it. Maybe finding a few friends or group members along the way would be nice. this has been a strange winter everywhere.
